The SVT-27 Blue Tails are responsible for training new pilots in all aspects of variable fighter training in atmosphere and space. Intially equipped with the VF-5000 the Blue Tails transitioned to the VF-11C/D in 2030. Flying training includes surface based carrier operations and space flight (with FAST pack equipped machines) around the moon. It is expected that the SQN will transition to the VF-19 by 2041.
 
This kit is a re release of Hasegawa's excellent VF-11D Kit with the colourful marking of SVT-27 "Blue Tails". The kit features two pilots, centrline gunpod and detailed landing gear.
