Hasegawa cheaped out on the base 1/72 VF-1 Valkyrie kits by not including any pilots or weapons. In this set they provide all of the missiles that appear in SDF:Macross AAM-1) and the DYRL? movie (UMM-7 lainchers and RMS-1 Reaction Missiles) and suitable pylons but only 2 DYRL? movie pilots.
 
This is a highly detailed set although with lots of engraved panel lines and nifty detail and will look great to load up on a VF-1 or any valkyrie kit.
